I am a gr8 photographer but never yet done model photography female nude or otherwise,? |
I would pay them, but ti'm not sure how one would get into this side of photography Women are very sceptical of men taking photos so as a female you have a far better chance dealing with them, and they will feel more comfortable getting undressed. Many women use friends for nude work but if you have no luck there you may have to ask around. I find this is this is the best method as models from agencies can cost 拢25 to 拢50 per hour. Also have a look around at local portrait courses and see what extend classes they have, the model may know the course organiser and resident photographer and feel very comfortable about this thing. Check out photography mags, books and modelling agencies. I sometimes use an agency who supply a model, studio, lighting and assistant photographer, sometimes a low as 拢200. The last book I read was 'a comprehensive guide to glamour photography - Duncan Evans'. And always use good music to keep the model relaxed and from getting bored, it shows in the photos! Place an add in the paper, say you're professional with experience etc My guess is that many students will do it, if it's tasteful...for money. 1 ..contact your local college (art dept) or Art School who might help with a list of professional models 2 .. see / advertise in local paper for models 3 .. ask family or friends (you might be surprised 1) If you shoot models for any purpose, advertising, updating portfolios, editorial or almost any other reason, you will find that some of them would love to do some experimental shooting with you where the two of you can play with lighting, makeup and various kinds fo clothing. Eventually one will want some semi-nudes or nudes and once you have those photos in your book, other models will want to shoot nudes and glamour with you. Editorial, sports and glamour photographer |
