Do you have to take a photography class to become a nude photographer? |
Do you have to take a photography class to become a nude photographer? No, but you do need to be very careful about things like having proof of age, model releases, consent forms, etc. No, you set your camera up, on tripod, set timer and trip it, running to the spot you want to be located. Not impressive, however. Do you have to take photography class to become a photographer? Of course you do. Unless you don't mind making bonehead mistakes all the time and having no clue what may have caused them. BTW many of the photographers who work for Playboy are graduates of Art Center, Brooks and other photo schools Editorial, sports and glamour photographer Nope. Just take your clothes off. You'll get your best photos by going outside and walking around with your camera. Hold it down by your crotch and point it up at the people as they look to see what kind of camera you have. Everybody is always interested in your camera. You should get some great candids. On the other hand, if you want to photograph nudes, a class or workshop specifically focussed on that is good. To produce a good nude takes a lot more than a naked person and a camera. Lighting and understanding how to use it is critical to the posing and the posing is critical to what you are trying to say. Classes and workshops cover that. Another great advantage of a class or workshop on photographing the nude is they always come with a naked person. How to get people to get naked for you is a matter of interpersonal skills and there is probably another forum for that. Vance Yes! Every camera owner should take a photography course! No matter what you shoot if you have skills and learn as much as you can you'll enjoy photography much, much more. Don't be fooled thinking that because you have a camera that you are a photographer. Photographers are skilled people who understand the technology and the science. Snappers are guys and dolls with cameras who go around popping off images on auto without even understanding what's happening. My pet parrot can press the shutter, that takes no skill at all. No, but you better be damn compent. Not only in photography, but in business and the law. None of these things require taking a course or having a degree, but, again, you better know what you are doing. I've made it as a pro photographer, without a formal education in photography. I do have a degree in computer programming, and have taken management and business courses. |
