Sony Cyber-shot...good purchase?

My 4 year old dropped our digital camera into the toliet today, so I was off to Best Buy to get a new one. With no research I purchased the Sony Cyber-shot 10.2 mp w/ super steady shot. We had a older Olympus so I suppose this is a upgrade, but now I am concerned I didn't look into the cammera...Does anyone have one & how do you like it...dislike it.

I would love all imput so I can decide if I should return it or open the box, thanks in advance

Also I know it was no one of them that was recalled as all of them were off the shelves

I have had 4 Sony digital cameras, progressing from a 2 megapixel to a 7 megapixel (DSC-H5). My wife and I are both avid photographers and are completely satisfied with the Sony brand. Our cameras provide a good range of manual adjustments or auto if you so choose. We have taken about 35,000 photos so they have been well tested. Good luck with your choice.

If you are still there... Please "add details" or just post a new question. Wha tspecific model is your camera? "Cybershot" is a name given to ALL Sony point and shoot cameras, so it's hard to look this up. Thanks.
