Can someone help me?

I bought i digital camera where u take pictures but it also came with video where u can make movies. i tried it and played it on my computer and tv but there is no sound. its a FE 115 olympus camera. any suggestions?

even with no sound whats the purpose of having a video with no sound it doesnt make sense

According to the review for this model at Steve's Digicams, it does not record sound.

A digital camera is meant for taking pictures, so they put most of the technology into still pictures, and have a little left over for videos. They're just something extra you can do. If you want to do videos with sound, get a camcorder. They make them small and digital now, and they do have sound. I've got a Sony Handycam that's great for videos!
