I just got an old Olympus OM-1 35mm cammera given to me. It has several extention lenses and accesories. I have no idea about how to work cuz I have only had digital cameras and cheap 35mm. This is a real nice camera!!! It has the original box! Please someone help me. Thanks
PS. Any stupid comments such as "point and shoot" or "press the button" or anything similar dont bother to answer! You have a fine camera and you will be able to do some fine work with it.
Rather than having us give you a course in photography (at least a two year commitment) look for a local community college that has photo-art classes and take at least the first class.
If the original box has a manual, take the camera out and without film in it go through the manual page by page and learn how to work all the controls on it.
Note: You will have to get a replacement battery for the light meter. Mercury batteries are no longer made. See link |
