Help about a camera?

I have a olympus FE-120 X-700 digital camera. can any1 plz tell me the procedure to recharge it. Do u hv to change the pencil cells (battery)or do u recharge the battery? it is written on the battery provided dat recharging it may cause harm to the camera. i did not evn get a charger with it.
Nothing happens when i replace da pencil cells. it still says battery empty. plz help out

if its brand new take it back to the shop and ask for one with a charger - if you bought it off ebay you are stuffed
