What is the cheapest waterproof digital camera?

i dont like pentax WP-series and i already have the WPi. is there another make, olympus? any others? and how much are they. (in pounds please)

Bushnell makes an outdoors water resistant camera, looks durable yellow or green & black it costs less than the pentax w30 and much less than the Olympus. Otherwise if you plan on going underwater the Olympus is rated for 33 feet about 10 meters! I am also looking - undecided. Pentax is the cheapest so far for waterproof - unfortunately.

I cannot tell you whether or not the camera I'm going to recomment is the cheapest.. anyone can purchase a waterproof disposable camera what all are classified as cheap/inexpensive. However if you browse to t his site you can read and decide for yourself. I own several Nikons, however, I am going to purchase this one and would recommend it to anyone. Hope this helps

Canon has an A710IS for around $240 on the internet. They separately sell a waterproof case for another $100 or so. The camera itself is not submersible.

Someone else mentioned Olympus. I personally don't like Olympus and have owned a couple in the past (although not the underwater variety).
