I have an Olympus FE-150 digital camera. I've recorded videos with it, but when I try to play them on my computer the video freezes every 2-3 seconds and there is no audio.
Having searched forums, I see that it is a problem with QuickTime 7.1 and other recent versions of QT. Forum members say Olympus themselves recommend users to install QT 6.4. I'm not too keen, because that will screw up iTunes.
So: the question really is: does anybody know an alternative solution to this problem? I suggest a 3rd party video player for the .mov files, such as this:
http://www.cliprex.com/
or google "mov video player" for more options. I suggest the VLC media player. Go to www.videolan.org and download the player. It can play most video and audio file formats and will not mess up your iTunes. |
