Digital stabilization - Who was the first one to release a consumer digital camera with this feature?

Can someone let me know if they have seen this feature on a camera and if so, which brand? I heard so far it's just SONY and Olympus. May be wrong. ???

I recently purchased the Panasonic lumix DMC-FZ30 Digital camera from Circuit City on-line. It has the Image Stabilization feature. There are two modes available. One stabilizes the lens as soon as it is activated. The other mode activates the stabilization feature only when the shutter release is pressed, when you take the picture. Hope this helps.
