Cons: Short battery life, small zoom range, expensive memory cards.
As a high school photography student i look for the best in cameras. after a long period of testing and reading about various digital cameras, i found the SP-350. with loads of features including a hot shoe, in camera editing, high resolution images, great value, and overall excellent pictures. since i bought it i have used it for all aspects of photography and even purchased the underwater housing for it.
i recomend this camera to high school students that have serious interest in photography and are looking for an advanced camera with numerous options, without breaking the bank. anyone can use this camera, whether they are beginner users or advanced users. just be sure to carry extra AA batteries, they tend to run dry quickly when shooting alot. ...

At 2 bills though it is a VERY good value. http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/olympu... It's a good price for the 8 mps. I own the 6 mp Olympus SP-500 UZ. Your model might be easier for a person that wants to just point and shoot a picture. The model I have has more lenses and the optical and digital zoom is more.
Your camera is good if you are not an advanced user that wants special features.
Considering the price you paid, you got a good deal. I owned another Olympus before this new one and I love them.
The thing with buying electronics is that tomorrow there will always be something better and more expensive. Then the price will drop on them in a matter of 6 months. It's an everchanging electronic world out there. |
