How to improve picture quality of a digital camera?

Hello everybody out there, mates, people brothers, fellas and especially to the photographers out there.


I want to ask on how to enhance the image quality that my digital camera produce and if you can show me the exact directions on how to do it..

My digi cam is Olympus M700 (lit's not letter M, it's a greek word if I'm not mistaken it's pronounce as "myu") I will be very glad if I met someone who has the same camera and tell me his/her experience on the camera because for me this camera is what we say.....a CRAP!!!

Olympus M700 is only 7.1 megapixels I would recommend stepping up the megs 8.0+ will give you better photos over the 8/10 size a good computer program will help to but the camera will really make a world of difference.
Canon EOS 40D is the newest from canon just released in Aug. of 07 if you are willing to shell out the 1200-1500 dollars. If not here are more options
Nikon D80 $700-1200 range
Canon EOS Rebel XTi $600-1000 range

Go to Google and download a free copy of the software called Image Enhance. It will allow you to enhance your digital photos.
For example, you can increase the sharpness of the image, which makes up for low res.

Do you have the camera set to its maximum resolution? How many megapixel is it? If it's a cheap camera, you may be stuck with what you are getting from it.

The old adage still rings true with modern technology....
"You can't polish a turd, it just smears."

Read and study your Owner's Manual. Learn the capabilities of your camera and learn to use them to their full potential. Many times its not the camera its the user.

Keep your camera set to the highest megapixel it has, set ISO speed to lowest on a bright sunny day, 64 or 80 if it goes that low. If you have manual controls set aperture to F/5.6 or F/8, see what happens.
