i have an olympus f210 digital camera that comes with a cd software for editing and managing images. it's system requirement is win xp and vista but may computer only have a win98. is there any other software that could run on may computer to upload and edit my picture in the camera. The camera is an auto connect camera which means you can use any editing software. I use Picassa from Google, its freee and easy to use. Okay, here's the deal. Digital cameras (especially new ones like yours) produce images that take a lot of CPU power and RAM to manipulate them using the programs that come with them on the enclosed CD.
I am surprised you have such an old computer (nearly 10 years old) and still haven't had problems before with upgrades of your other software.
Find a nice inexpensive (under $500) desktop computer and use your old monitor for now. You will find your digital experience with your new camera will be well worth it. |
