What kind of Digital Camera do you have? |
I am looking to buy a new digital camera this weekend as my old one doesn't even "exist" anymore on Olympus' website, and i'm finding it hard to buy replacement things for it. Soooo with that in mind, i'm willing to spend up to $200-$300 on a digital camera, but I want it to last a long time. What kind of digital camera do you have? Do you like it or dislike it? Why? Would you recommend it? Thank you!! olympus 720sw olympus d580~its ok, i just don't like when u look in the I have a canon and it is real cool its black and it has good zoom and it came with a charger i have a J V C,DIGITAL video camera it can take photos on a memory card that can be loaded on to the compture,as well asthe small cassette, spent about $450.00 for it and got good result. We have a Fujifilm E500. We bought it because it has a viewfinder and a good size screen. It has the ability to be manually adjusted. Only drawback is the power of the zoom: 3x optical and 3x digital. I've seen newer cameras with 10x zoom and would consider trading up. I like the Xd card it uses; they are not very big compared to some others. You might want to buy another camera that uses the same media card as your old Olympus just to save yourself that expense. When you want to get a good idea of what is new today, go to the library and look at Consumer Reports if you don't subscribe. An aside: People who hold their cameras at arm's length bug me; they get added camera shake and it is not as easy to track a subject that is moving. I won't buy a camera without a viewfinder. I have a concord, it uses double d batteries, my camera is a little old, but it still works really great.I have never had any problems with it. I'm in the same situation as well and I've found cnet to be a great site for reviews. I am considering buying the Canon PowerShot SD800 IS because it is one of the editors top picks, has a 2.5 screen, is fairly small, takes good pictures/videos, and I've had the chance to play around with it as a friend of mine owns it. The only drawback I've found that it doesn't take the greatest photos in darker lighting and it costs a little under $300. I have a Canon A510 which has been replaced by todays I have two, a Canon Digital Rebel (out of your price range so I won't bother telling you about that one) and a Nikon CoolPix. I wanted plenty of zoom, so I bought the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2. I love it. 6 megapixels, 12X optical zoom. Excellent 8X10 prints, acceptable 11X14s. 1 sec delay between shots, image stabilizer, very good on AA rechargeables and comes with battery charger. Hey you! With a price range of 200-300 you can get a great digital camera IF you know where you look! Polaroid is a trusted name brand that's been around for YEARS, right? I'd start by looking at the Canon Powershot A560. It's a fairly |
