I want to buy a good digital camera? please help me and give me some suggestion.?

i want to buy a good looking digital camera, and take good pictures with or without flash. and around $300 or less.
i was thinking about getting the Olympus Stylus 770-SW Silver 7.1 MP 3X Zoom Digital Camera what do you think about it and is it worth the money? please help

The best camera for under $200 is the Canon A550

* 7.1 Megapixel
*4X Optical Zoom
* Very good photo quality, noise levels low through ISO 400 (in good light)
* Well built for the price
* Very good performance
* LCD visible in low light
* Some manual controls
* AF-assist lamp, good low light focusing
* Good movie and continuous shooting modes
* Impressive software bundle
* Uses AA batteries; great battery life
* USB 2.0 High Speed support

ask if its got slr its something huge for pros... 3x dont sound like much btw, check shutter speed itll b the most important thing decides whether pics are blurry or perfect.. especially for sports photography when its a hit it or miss it shot

I got the Olympus Stylus 770-SW Silver 7.1 MP 3X Zoom Digital Camera for $500 and i have to say it was worth the money! Its the best camera ive had so far. The shutter speed is: 4 to 1/1000 seconds. If you want other information email me at: fluffypinkchickens@hotmail.com
Hope this helped.

So, as you put it, you need a good looking digital camera, can take good pictures with or without flash and cost less than 300USD. You intend to get an Olympus Stylus 770-SW Silver. That puts it together. This camera is a good looking camera, thin in profile, sports a 7.1 MP capability, with an internal optical zoom facility (no lens protrusion as you zoom in and out). The 7.1 MP capability ensures that you can take an image, crop it to your needs. This camera fits your requirement. What you have to think now is the pros and cons about the camera. The cons are: It's not fitted with an optical viewfinder, so the battery drain is quite heavy. The shutter speed variation is 4 - 1/1000 seconds, so if you want longer shutter speed, you face a problem. It uses XD-Picture card, which is on the expensive side now compared to CF and SD/MMC. On the power side, it uses it's own special lithium battery, so if you don,t have a few sets on standby, you will face a problem. Lastly, I don't know if you can get it at 300USD, as it's advertised at 380USD. If you can overcome the situations above, then the Olympus camera will be a good choice for you.

be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions

I would like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:

1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera, Staples.com.]

Good luck!
