Would my digital camera work with windows vista?

i wanna buy a olympus stylus 740 camera but the software isnt vista compatible . is there anyway i would still be able to transfer the pics to my pc ? and if i were able to upload them whats the ups and downs of not having the software?

the camera wizard will come up
you need to go to olympus to download drivers for vista

Typically this doesn't work for uploading images to a digital camera, because the camera keeps track of all sorts of extra data in order to understand the images. But you can probably download and delete pictures from the camera this way.

Windows Vista has a large driver base and I would assume that the camera will work. I just looked at the specs on the camera and am certain it will work. Vista and XP come with built-in photo transfer tools called Scanner and Camera Wizard.
