How do I reset the resolution on my Digital camera?

I have a Olympus Camedia C-4000 digital camera.Cannot find this info in the manual.How do I reset the resolution to take smaller photos to send through e-mail?Please be specific.Thanks.

Well I checked out your camera and had a quick read of the details provided.
You have to go into the MENU..........and then select PICTURE and then choose the lowest resolution (640X480) Your manual should have it...just a matter of finding it. Look for MENU or RESOLUTION in the index perhaps.
I, myself, always record my pictures in the highest resolution available, and then if I want to make a smaller size I then make a copy and re-size it. That way you always have the original full size copy. (you obviously need software for that) I would also endorse Paintshop Pro as the previous answerer mentioned, however there are simpler programs available.

I would get a photo program like Paint Shop Pro and use the RESIZE feature, once these shots are in your computer.

Go to the menu on your camera and search for sizing. See what else is on yoru menu also.

It should be on the Menu! like a button you can push for options like this!

But lastly is the Photoshop! use that to resize it! but it takes time!
