When I take photos and transfer them into folders to send through e-mail,they come out huge to whomever I send them to.I know that it is an adjustment on the camera when I take them.I just don't know what that is.Be specific please. There should be a way (button maybe?) to get to a "menu" on your camera. Somewhere on there you will find a something that says, "picture quality" or "resolution" and this is what you need to change. Most digital cameras (I haven't used an Olympus, sorry) have a star rating for quality, like one star, two stars and three stars for best. Put the star setting to one and it will vastly decrease the photo size, but it will also decrease quality. Be careful with what you do, because you could take a bunch of crappy pictures. Too big, in my mind, is better than crappy photos. Also, you can use software to compress photos. I don't know what OS you are using. If you let me know that and if you are using MS Office (and the version), then I can quickly explain how to keep your quality and make the size smaller with software on your PC. I have an Olympus D450 zoom camera. I hope you still have the instruction book.
You have to reset the resolution.
I'm not sure which buttons to push because I can't find my book. Your camera may be different than mine.
But I had the same problem till I changed the resolution to a lower number.
Sorry I can't be more specific about how to fix it. |
