Looking for best place to buy a 50mm macro lens for my wife. Would love to get particulars from any of you shutterbugs out there. Olympus does have a resonably priced 35mm f 3.5 Macro for the Evolts. Under $250 USD I think...

I would just buy an adapter for a manual focus lens such as the old Olympus OM lenses and buy a high quality used 50mm macro lens and use it as a 100mm effective FL macro lens in manual focus mode and save hundreds of dollars over a new, autofocus 50mm macro lens. |
