Can you take black and white pictures with an Olympus FE-230 digital camera? How?

From the camera directly - not on the computer.

Not familiar with that model,but why would you want to do that...You should always shoot in color so you always have that,and then transform the pictures to b&w,sepia,or whatever later on. There are no advantages to shooting in black and white.

You can take your picture and then convert it to black and white on your computer.
