New batteries in my Olympus Sp 350 digital camera run out quickly. 15 minutes to be exact. is this normal?

yes get rechargeble batteries
don't use the screen to take pictures(kills battery power)
use the thing where you have to look with yr eye.

yes...you need to get special olympus rechargeable batteries and a charger

i dont think so because i have duracell batteries and they work pretty good.

i think you should get the rechargable batteries because they are way better and i lost mine.

Depends on temperature and number of photos shot. I suggest getting some NiMH batteries and a re-charger. Checkout the MAHA MH-C204F or Maha MH-C204W Charger. I have bought stuff from them before and they offer very good service at a good price.
