I'm trying to delete files I put on my Olympus digital camera memory chip (3V 8MB), but all of a sudden I get the following error....
"The disk is write-protected. Remove the write-protection or use another disk."
I think I accidentally copied document files to the chip instead of JPEG's and now I can't seem to remove them, which leaves me room for only 2 pictures.
So, how do I change a write-protection on a digital camera memory chip that I didn't even realize was there in the 1st place? Try right click on the file then "Properties" in Attributes if there is a green thing in Read-only box then click on it to remove the read only permission, click "OK" then try to delete the file again.
If this don't work then try formatting it, check your camera manual for instructions on how to format it. If non of this work
call your camera manufacturer help line. please refer the digital camera manual |
