Should my Olympus C770 camera work on the AC adaptor when there is no battery in the camera? |
I don't have a battery for the camera, but it doesn't respond with just the AC adaptor plugged in. Then you answered your own question!! See Olympus support for a battery & a manual!! I do not think it is meant to, as I have that camera, because the battery is essential for starting things off, so to speak. It is like a phone on dead battery - when you plug it in and try and turn it on, it will not work until the battery has enough power to do the entire boot sequence and then let mains power take over. |

I do not believe SD is an option for you. You will need to buy an Xd card for that camera. You can get some good deals at newegg.com, or another online store.
