Question about Olympus Digital Camera?

Does the Olympus Stylus 840 take pictures quickly? Is there any delay with the picture or flash?

The shutter delay goes from 0.1 second to 0.5 seconds if you still need to focus.
From turning the camera on to taking the first picture takes just under 2 seconds.
When you use the flash, there is hardly any delay for the first picture. After that however, the flash does need time to recharge for the next shot. I don't have numbers for this.

Overall, it's about as responsive as any other point & shoot camera... good enough for most stuff but not very useful for action shots.
