Olympus have cameras of high qualities but why doesn't it get included in the Trusted Brand 2008?

There are shockproof, waterproof, freezeproof.. and some can even stand a pressure of a 100kg person standing on it..

But why don't it get the Trusted Brand 2008 by Reader's Digest?

Because they are just too good to be true...lol.

Readers Digest, Photopop, blah blah they all have their own slant on it all.

Heres mine, the 2x crop and tiny sensor in the DSLRs keep them out of the reckoning.

Having sold compacts (point n shoots) a few years I know the Olympus ones are very very sharp. We used to test new cameras and the lens sharpness of the
Olympus was outstanding everytime. In compacts if I was selling to a friend they would get a Canon or Olympus.

Olympus make a lot of the optics in machines in the medical industry - xrays, microscopes et cetera ---- to me glass/lens quality is always number 1.

So heres you answer - Readers Digest are not a reliable source for cameras..............really who would follow the review of a company that sends out silly competitions to get business ------and they are in the FICTION business.......not photography......
