Olympus Camera Battery is Stuck -- how do I get it out? |
I have had my Olympus C765 camera for years, and today I think I might have inserted the lithium-ion battery in the opposite orientation. I did not notice much resistance when inserting it, so I thought it was fine, but the camera does not turn on. I assume I have inserted the battery in the wrong direction. Turn the camera upside down and slap the battery chamber against the palm of your hand to see if the battery will dislodge. Don't use any tools! If worse comes to worse, take it in to be serviced. |
