my camera screen says "Write Protect" how do i fix it? Your camera has an SD (secure digital0 card inside it to rec ord pictures. on this card there is a slid that has two settings. whin you pushed it into the camera, you put the card into write protect mode. remove the card and then reverse the position of the slider. replace the card carefully and turn the camera back on. |

Is this camera new? Under warranty? In any case, call the Olympus help line .... they will get you through this .... Breathe. ...i like the yellow one =) but i've never had one like that tho... ...Hi.. i do have this camera.. its really good,i had no problems till now (its just 6 months old).. and the pics are really great.. i'm shocked with the reviews.. i do agree that it cant record... no you cannot. Olympus FE sereis cameras don't have this function. i have a newer FE-230 and had the same problem. dont buy the camera again, it slowly turns into a piece of crap afte... The 850 is a really nice camera, I have a Panasonic TZ5 and I was looking at the Olympus. The 1030 doesnt really have much more in the way of picture quality than the 850. ...Yeah I don't think it's harsh enough even. One thing that I still do is that every time I got something new, I got rid of something and I gave it to charity. So if I got a new pai... the battery might have gone ...If you're going to be taking a lot of pictures and videos, I honestly don't think that is enough, especially on an extended trip. I always carry at least 4GB. My advice, buy a nice FAS... |
