PLEASE HELP!!! my best friend lost my brand new camera.....and has'nt offered to replace it, what should i do?

I just bought a brand new olympus water proof camer about 3 weeks ago. The first time i took it to the lake was last weekend and me and my best friend were on the back of the boat, she slipped back and dropped my camera in the lake, the camera obviously didnt float. after it happened she went and told her dad and she told me theyd buy me a new one....but a week has past and i know she is avoiding me and the subject. im leaving for camp in 4 days and i really want my camera. should i just bring it up and offer to split the cost of it with her? idk what to do....oh yeah the day before she threw me in her pool and ruined my phone, but she replaced it the day after my camera was lost.

I think you should tell your parents and see what they think. Then, talk to her and tell her your issue. Next, if she say something like," It's too expensive, i cant replace it" Then offer to split. But, don't buy the camera again. She deserves to replace it. It was her falut! Oh, and don't bring stuff like that to her house anymore....

Tough situlation but the best thing is tell her that your camp starts sooon and you need it, not want, but NEED it before 4 days. Tell her you will offer to pay 1/4 of the price but definatly not half. Especially as noone of it was your fault!

If you know she's avoiding you remind her about ur camera because she did offer to pay for it

the dad offered to pay for it so go ask him

take something of hers and dont give it back untill she gives you a new camera.. LOL... Or tell her parents... they should be able to get you a new one.. or just jump her.. jp...

man you have one clumsy friend. You should deff bring it up tell her that you would like to get your camera before you go off. she shuld understand but if she cant get it in time dont sweat it unless she really asnt given it to you after you get back. Thats when you should tell her that if she really cant get it for you that you will pay half and she pays the rest but either way she needs to give you a new camera. Stick to your gunz. If she is a true friend you shouldnt have to going through all of that in the firrst place
