Camera deleted pictures without me even pressing buttons!!!? |
I have an Olympus FE-230 and I was viewing my pictures in the viewing mode when my camera all of a sudden turned on and off. Thinking nothing of it, I pressed the viewing button again. After I pressed the viewing button it said xm card read error, and it turned on and off again. I went up to my computer and hooked it up, just in case it was just a reading error like it said. When I tried importing the pictures it said that I had no photos. So, if my camera deleted all of my pictures then how come when I go into camera mode it says that I have 4 pictures left to take when I should have 500 or more if it deleted them all? I just want my pictures back. Please Help! It's probably just corrupted. I had that problem and used PhotoRescue I believe. This was on a Mac, but I think there's a windows version too |

Next, if she say something like," It's too expensive, i cant replace it" Then... Your camera has an SD (secure digital0 card inside it to rec ord pictures. on this card there is a slid that has two settings. whin you pushed it into the camera, you put the card into write protec... Is this camera new? Under warranty? In any case, call the Olympus help line .... they will get you through this .... Breathe. ...i like the yellow one =) but i've never had one like that tho... ... |
