Good digital cameras, the Olympus FE-340 and the Olympus Stylus 840??? |
I'm looking into buying one of these two cameras, any people own these? What do you think of them? Hi Jacquie. Looks like no one is answering :(, so I will try. The Olympus digital line is actually a pretty nice camera. They are very popular at the store that I work. For one reason, is it is a sleek and attractive camera, and another it has lots of features for a nice, affordable price. I would seriously consider the 840, because it is kind of an upgrade to the 340... meaning you are already ahead of yourself when the new model comes out in about 24 hours. (LOL like they always do, once you think you have the latest and the greatest, something else comes out and makes you mad that you didn't wait!!!). I have older models of the Olympus digital cameras and they take wonderful pictures. I wish I could send you a couple that I have taken with it. Don't second guess the Olympus if that is what you like. It is going to be your camera. I can only suggest that along with your camera you buy a small, padded camera pouch... it will help keep scratches off your camera and lessen the jolt if you drop it. Good Luck from Texas. |
