Can it be so that a digital camera has no microphone for video recording ?

...even if the possibility of video recording is there ???

So.. you get a silent video. Very nice. That seems to be case with our new camera, which shocked us.

We bought Olympus FE-210/X-775.

Movie Mode

The FE-210 can capture 640x480 movies at 15 frames per second and 320x240 at 15fps. There is no audio captured along with the movies. However, the upside to this is that optical zoom is available during movie capture

I had the olympus fe-210!
But the screen broke.
and yes,
it does not have a micro-phone for movies, recording, etc.
.....
It stinks!
They should really say that when you buy the camera!
