I need a new memory card for my camera? |
i currently have an olympus xd memory card and if i buy from a different brand, what do i need to make sure is the same? like obviously the shape has to be the same but what about models or whatever? As long as it's a XD card, it should be compatible with your camera, regardless of the brand (I had a camera that used XD cards). well, you don't mention what TYPE of card you use, but I know that my sony alpha takes compact flash cards. CF cards come in two types. Normal and high speed. And the high speed really does make a difference. Brand to brand they are 99% compatible. In my last camera (it used SD cards) I used three different brands of cards and they all worked fine. make sure it has xD on it not SD |
