!camcorder help please!?

I bought a Panasonic Digital Video Camcorder model number PV-DV203. I bought it off of ebay and it did not come with the software cd and i need to no how to connect my video camera with my computer and then get the video onto the computer. I also dont no if the software cd is important or i have to have it.

u just need a usb cable that can connect to ur usb socket in the computer at one end and a suitable end on the other end of the cable for video and audio cable which goes from ur camera to microphone in ur computer. That's all u need and u don't have to have the software cd. Report It

You should check your manual. For USB transfer download the software. For iLink transfer you only need an iLink cable. Windows XP automatically recognizes DV camcorders.
