Reason Im asking is because I want to see how many of you choose what store - for computer, tv, digital cameras, modem, webcam, etc.
Me - I go to Best Buy Store because I trust their merchandises alot better than other store. psssstt + dont go Wal-Mart > they're horrible with their merchandises. I dont know about their clothes.
I bought a 14 inch panasonic tv for my game. Came home that very night to set it up - nothing came on. Plug was already in, check wires, etc. Finally decided to go back to Wal-Mart and returned it & got my money back. Decided to go Best Buy Store - ever since then... my 14 inch tv is wonderful!! best buy is awesome Best Buy er Radio Shack
only because I've never been to any of the others.. we don't have them hehe Wal-mart & Ebay I like Best Buy I think they are the only one that know what they are talking about, and the Geek Squad, my computer life depends on them. Best Buy. Don't knock Walmart for one bad item ,you can get that anywhere.Walmart will alway take it back. not best buy for dvd player took 4 trys to get one to work.. I had to buy a more expensive one.
I bought my computers there and some cds and software.
I prefer best buy over the others you have listed in this area though. best buy management is useless and their return policy is
horrid
I'll never shop there again Computers.. Software.. CompUSA
Anything else, And including computers, software.. BestBuy
I also shop for best buys.. no pun intended.
Radio shack for speaker wires and cables and such.
Never Circuit City.. sorry..
Never bought electronics from WalMart.. Tho they do have great prices on other things To begin, it's " Circuit City ", NOT City Circuit. that's sounds like a road around a city.
My choice is Circuit City. They have been around longer than some of the other Electronic stores, and I have bought quite a few large ticket items there over the last 10 years or so.
The salesmen are not young children who have pimples on their faces, and they all are knowledgeable about their products.
If they are not sure of their answers to questions, they have no problem bringing in another associate to answer or solve the problem..
I don't see many stores doing that, anymore.
Also, there are actually enough salesmen around so you don't have to yell "fire", or have a fake heart attack to get any attention.
Best Buy store has lower to mid range equipment and TVs. I have shopped there, but always go back to Circuit City to do my buying.
Walmart can go to Rawanda and join the Peace Corp..
Radio Shack used to be top notch for electronic parts and Radios, Shortwave, CBs, and Transceivers.
Not many younger people remember that Radio Shack was started for Ham Radio ( Amateur Radio ), years ago, and was THE Place to go for parts and equipment. Now, it's just another electronic store that wants to sell you a wireless phone with a 500 year contract....
I've never been to a CompUsa store, so I won't comment on it. NONE - ebay beats all of their prices!
But if it comes to larger items that you dont wish to be shipped, Best Buy usually has the cheapest prices with decent warranties. But dont forget your stupid rebates! Not too many options there, but if I were choosing since I got a piece of junk computer from Circuit City I'd choose Best Buy because of the quality/price of the equipment. Many other stores though do better with the computer parts pricing though than Best Buy/Radio Shack/Circuit City or CompUSA. Does a person well to do comparison shopping. The issue I have with Wal-Mart is they've taken the quantitative route at the sacrifice of quality. Though I do go around there for because my bank is there, other than that we go for groceries any more. I go there for the books and sometimes eat there with the Subway there at the one I go to. Any more they're combining all stores/meat markets into the super centers and Best Buy's into the super centers too. I don't know if that may occur or not but it might in the future though. |
