Is there any way to avoid losing my pictures due to formatting? |
My husband and I just went on vacation for our anniversary, and took lots of pictures that we were really excited about sending out. But when I hooked the digital camera up to my computer, it said the card was not formatted, and to format I'd have to lose all the pictures. I have a panasonic sd rp-sd128b. We had no problems just last night when we took most of the pictures. I'm so upset! And I've tried it in two computers and two cameras. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it! there are programs that can retrieve the images at a lowel format, you can try them for free, and if one works for you, buy it, they don't cost but about 20.00, I use one called digital picture recovery for my clients, another one that works very well is photorecovery v3 hmmmmmmmm Im real srry to admit this but every time i format my card all pics lost. After i formatted i never had to do it again on an olympus D-595 and a D-390 usually formatting deletes everything on the floppy, so u would probobley want to see an expert. |
