Hi guys ive got a really important question, so if any one could help me that would be great.
Okay so im using a friends digital camera (its a lumix dmc-fx01 from panasonic, if it matters) and i was using the motion picture mode (video) and i played the video back once,and tried to delete it.
Any ways the tumbnail that represents the video and the date are both gone and theres just a black screen in its place, and no matter how hard i try to delete it i just keep getting a screen that says (this picture cannot be deleted.
Its not protected and ive made and erased like 5 other videos before that one and it was only like a 20 second video.I think it could posibly be a malfunction because when i triend to turn off the camera after trying to delete the video it took a much longer time (like at least 10-15 seconds compared to about 2) to turn off.
so yea if anyone could please help me i would really appreciate it cause I really need to get this video off there so PLEASE help!
Thanks!! oh yea thats something i left out. i dont have the driver or a usb cable or a memory card slot and like almost all of the pics are hers.
but i think she already has most of them on her computer and as long as she can put pics from her computer on to her camera again then i guess formatting would be okay
thank you Before you do anything, copy ALL the image files to your computer.
Erase any files you don't want from the computer. Then and only then, format the card using the format feature in the cameras menu.
This will refresh your card and write a new image index file, thus preventing any later corruption of old images left on the card when photographers delete individual images on cards. |
