How do I erase the photos on my SD card so I can take more? |
There are no instructions with my camera, a Panasonic DMC-LZ5, and I can't find anything about erasing the card on any of the three programs I have which will upload the photos on to my computer -- Lumix Simple Viewer (came with camera), Kodak EasyShare (has all my pictures from both digital & 35 mm cameras), or Adobe Photoshop 3.0, which I haven't figured out how to use yet. Let me know if you need to know something else. Thanks for any help you can give! The program should give an 'Erase on Exit' option, if not simply go to My Computer and find the memory card listed as a drive, it will show up as E; F; G; etc. then open that and delete the photos yourself. You should be able to erase the card with the camera controls. If you don't have the instructions, go to this website and ask Panasonic how it's done: http://panasonicdc.agent.conversagent.co... go into your camera's menu and find the erase. once you hit erase all it will erase the pictures on your camera nad the card Put the card in your camera and go to the menu. under the "set up" features you should have several options to erase on or all and even a "format" command. You can also just log on to the card (in your computer) and delete one or more from there. The program should give an Erase option, if not simply go to My Computer and find the memory card listed as a drive, it will show up as E; F; G; etc. then open that and delete the photos yourself. |
