How can I convert camcorder VRO Files into a format I can edit on my PC? |
My Wife has a Panasonic digital video camera. We would like to use my existing editing software (Pinnacle Studio 7) to edit it. It does not recognise the VRO files. Is there a free conversion prog available. Or does anyone have a better suggestion? I'm not positive if it does VRO but it probably can. There's a program called SUPER. Go to google and search for it. It can convert almost anything. It's great. I've just had a look at SUPER's list of formats, and I'm fairly sure .vro wasn't there. I myself am looking for software to convert them, as I have recorded a bunch of home videos onto DVD with a newish video/DVD player, and although my laptop can see the files and play them(the desktop doesn't even register that they exist) the closest I've come to being able to edit the files is getting maximum 30 second clips from WinDVD. If all else fails, I may resort to extracting dozens of these and then attempting to stitch them together... It's not free, but AVS Video Converter 4.3 reads VRO files and is able to convert them to some popular formats. You can Log on to |
