Do you like Panasonic?

What do you feel about panasonic as a brand? Is it good? How are its digital cameras, cell phones, tvs, ACs, refrigerators, notebook computers, home theaters etc etc.

Panasonic like all things should be considered one item at a time. You should never universally approve or support a product simply on the brand name. While Sony is usually more expensive than other similar products, it doesn't mean we should worship them without merit. Samsung, LG, Panasonic, and Phillips have all improved their products and decreased the perceived gap between them and Sony. I have owned a few Panasonic DVD players, one cell phone, and a home theater in a box. Currently I have a Sony, Phillips, and samsung TV in the house and enjoy the quality on all three. If you see a Panasonic gadget and thinks its more attractive, easy to use, and affordable than other choices, feel confident that what your buying won't be a lemon. Those three factors should be more important than whose name is on the device.

Korean electronics is moving faster, and have newer features than its competitors.

digital cameras -> canon would be best. If you have the money, then get a SLR.

Cell Phone -> Nokia

Notebook Computers -> Dell

I would get Panasonic over Sony. Sony has been doing poorly for years now in all its department except for the Playstation. I cannot see the Blu-Ray as the winner of the next gen DVD war.

I personally used Panasonic Toughbooks while deployed to Iraq, and they held up extremely good, I have had Panasonic electronics before, I feel like they are the best of the cheaper brands, and in some cases were better than higher end stuff. The best thing you can do is see what product you want, and look at a consumer review on it, and read comments other people had about it.

Panasonic has been around for quite some time and is a good product, all of them. I have a number of items made by them and I have not had any problems.

panasonic is a good brand...however...as it's kinda new in the digital camera n cell phones world...it is still good...but not satisfying...as for electrical stuffs at home...it's one of the best brands...
