Whats the problem with my camcorder?

Everytime i put it on to watch it, it has black and white lines running through it, I have tried a cassette cleaner but that only seems to work for a little while!
Has anyone got any suggestions to what i can do to fix it!
Its a panasonic digital camera.

I had the exact same problem, but with my samsung vp-d20,took it in for repair, cost 拢120.00,they cleaned all the inside and put in a new ccd card,4 months later the same problem is back,wish i'd purchased a new one now,have seen in comet,managers specials for 拢150.00

try head cleaning tapes on both in the camera an wot ur using a video play of dvd player

If a head cleaner doesn't work, and you've tried it with different tape cassettes (to ensure that the recording media isn't the problem), then you may have a mis-aligned recording or playback head.

Unfortunately, you cannot fix this yourself -- it will have to to in to a shop for realignment.
