Anyone know, camera??

Hi, does the Panasonic AG-190 Camcorder have a firewire cable and if so, where can i get one. Please and thank you, jake.

I looked through the Panasonic.com site and can find no reference to an "AG-190" camera.

If it is a miniDV tape based camcorder, then it will have a DV port that will connect to your computer's firewire (IEEE1394a, I.Link) port using a firewire cable.

The camcorder's DV port is a 4-pin firewire connector. Many computers that have a firewire400 port typically have a 6-pin firewire 400 port. Some computers with a firewire400 port have a 4-pin firewire400 port. Many traditional Windows based computers do not have a Firewire400 port, so it needs to be added.

Whether you need a 4-pin to 4-pin or 4-pin to 6-pin firewire cable depends on the firewire port in your computer.

USB will not work transferring miniDV tape video.

looks like one of those prosumer vcams I started with decades ago - VHS. Analog vcams don't have USB nor DV (firewire) ports...only digital vcams do. Sori
