How do I "Lock Focus" on my digital camera? |
It should be the same on most of them, but in case you need to know, my camera is the Panasonic FX55. Press the shutter button half-way. Your camera will focus. Keep it pressed down half-way, recompose your photo, then push it down all the way to take the picture. Depends on the camera. Some point and shoots, if you depress the shutter half way and recompose you have also preset the exposure. Some SLRs will have a focus lock button located on the camera. If neither of these work for you focus on something near your subject which won't mess up the exposure. For some additional information you can check this site DMWphotoplus.com I hope this helps out. |
