Laptop wont read camera? |
I just got a new laptop today because my camera wouldn't connect to my old pc via usb. But my laptop has firewire. So i connected my video camera (Panasonic PV-GS39) via firewire to my latop and when I went to WMM and clicked capture video it came with an error message saying that a video capture device wasn't connected. Can anybody help? I am running xp and my camera doesn't have an ac power supply but it has a battery in it but should i charge it even though it still has power. And how would i reinstall the IEEE driver. Panasonics typically need to be connected to AC power with their power adapter; also, the camcorder needs to be in "Play" or VCR" mode. |
