I just bought a panasonic Lumix Dmc-LZ7 camera and the sound don't work anyone know how to make it work?

It takes good pictures and im sure i just haven't found out how to turn the sound on does anyone know how to turn the sound on when you have it in record mode.

Dude, read the top right of page 71 in your manual:

"You can record audio on DMC-LZ7.
However, you cannot play audio only
with the camera. When you want to
play audio, connect the camera to PC
(P85) or TV (P92)."

There is a microphone, but there is no speaker.

the '' Mute'' option maybe ON.
Try to find it in the '' tools'' of '' menu ''.
If your cam. has it then keep it OFF.
