I was in Hershey Park and I had my Digital Camera, and I put it in my case like I always do and it was perfectly fine when I did (I know that because I was showing someone pictures!) And the next morning I woke up and took it out and there was a huge crack in the screen. It wasn't like a real crack it was just like a black line across the screen. I have a Pentax Optio T10 Touch Screen camera and all the touch features work fine. And I really cant feel or see it when it is shut off. Other than that it works the same except I have a line across it. (And also my battery latch is broke but that's beside the point!) Does anyone have any advice on where to go to fix or how to fix it. Thanks Here is the link to the Pentax repair info. I've sent cameras to Colorado twice (one of their repair centers), and both times the camera came back fixed. They will send you an estimate first, after you send them the camera. There may be a repair shop locally, but many camera shops just mail the camera to the authorized repair center.
If the camera functions fine, then you might think twice about getting it repaired. It will more than likely be more than $100 and you will have to pay to ship the camera.
You will also have to weigh the cost of a new camera and decide if it make sense to fix the one you have.
