I'm looking for a digital camera and money doesnt matter ! ! ! ! fast?

well im looking for only these two digital cameras which they have a touch screen so thats why i want them but i cant decide on which one or which one is better i need your help ! !! !!

If these are the only two cameras that you are considering, then the Sony DSC-N1 is the better camera to buy. I, myself prefer Canon...but thats only my preference...lol

Have a read of these reviews...and you will determine that the Sony is the better of the two.

If money doesn't matter, then the best camera is the one that uses the Faveon chip.
Even though it only uses 3.5MP, since each pixel takes in all 3 colors, you get the equivalent of a 10.5MP picture. What is REALLY amazing though is the quality of the color.
They have samples of pictures taken with the Faveon chip and the regular CCD chips. The difference has to be seen to be believed.
With CCD, striped pictures have rainbows showing up in color, NOT with the Faveon. The chip is also called an X3

BTW, when that camera first came out, just the body was about $1,400. Some time ago when I saw it last it had come down to about $650. (lenses are separate).

Go with the Sony. They make great electronic products. Our digital Camera is a sony and I don't regret it at all. I got it before my son was born and in the 7 months he's been here, I've taken almost 500 pictures and a few movies.

If money is no object and you want a phenominal camera, i would go with a canon rebel xt kit, add a few high end lenses and take a class on how to use everything. nothing beats a SLR in quality or speed, you have much larger lenses that let more light in, you have higher quality lenses, mirrors and sensors inside that take excellent pictures, and the rebel XT is on the basic side of the digital slrs even tho it is packed with more features than any point and shoot. if you ever upgrade to a better camera, you can use your lenses on the new one as well if you stay in the same brand.

I own a 20d canon and it takes awesome pics.


Between the 2 cameras you posted however, I would go with the pentax, as I have seen lots of problems with sony when I worked in the camera department. we also got a ton of them back.

Very close but I'd go for the Sony -

the Sony is 8.1 mp compared to Pentax T10 at 6.1mp
and the built-in memory is more than twice the size of Pentax's 12mb

Only drawback is that it's software programme has no mac version

Then go for a Digital SLR. Value for money, I will go for Konica Maxum 5D. Great Camera.
