My new pentax optio m20 digital camera is not recognized by win xp pc pls hel me?

There really is no good reason to always download images from your camera to your computer.

Either use the card reader on your computer or buy one if your computer doesn't have one. Transferring images from the card to the computer is a simple matter of dragging and dropping the images from your card to a new folder on your computer.

Attempting to move images from the card in the camera can lead to all kinds of problems if the batteries die in the camera during the download.

I use a card reader 99% of the time when moving my image files. It is just a lot safer.
