Can anyone suggest where I could get a Pentax ME Super film camera owners manual? |
It was given to me a few weeks ago. I have no clue about 35mm cameras but I do have a desire to learn, especially about b&w photography, (which is why it was given to me) I welcome any book suggestions cause I love to read but it has to be easy to understand or websites. I leave it to you all. Thanks everyone. Lastly, I would put up a photo of the camera but I don't know how to....sorry. Contact Pentax, which may have some available. Or, try Midwest Photo Exchange, which sometimes sells photo copies old old owners' manuals. The ME Super is a good camera. The Library will have good books. John Hedgecoe, and Roger W. Hicks, are just two author / photographers worth reading. Try this site: Plug it into google and you will find a site that has the word "butkus" in it. He has manuals for many of what he calls "orphan cameras," and I know he has that because I downloaded it from there. Just type butkus.org in Search. |

A Vivitar 283 or 285 should work just fine with your camera. You should find several on eBay. Just be sure to ask questions: Is the battery compartment clean and free of corrosion or battery lea... You need to convert the video to a format Movie Maker supports. Example, you can't import MOV to MM, but you could convert the MOV to AVI, MPG or WMV and then import it.
