How do I change the F-Stop on my camera?

i have a Pentax Optio E10 camera, and it takes pictures really slow. What setting should I set it on to make it take pictures faster so they're not so blurry, or how do I change the F-Stop?

(I think I did something to the camera to make it slower because it used to be much faster, and less blurry)

Forget the f-stop that's to do with the aperture and if you could change it you'd only let more or less light in..
Probably the Sport setting gives you the fastest shutter speed,You haven't set it to Macro mode maybe?..
Try also to press the shutter button halfway to allow the camera to focus first,then press it all the way down..

Your camera is mostly automatic ... you will have to look on your cameras menu to see if there is a "sports" mode ... that should help you some.

You really need to have an adjustable camera (SLR or DSLR) to have that feature.

Your camera is a very basic point & shoot type of camera, which does not give you any real control over the settings. You can only select one of the scene modes (your camera only includes 5). You can select SPORT, which will apply a faster shutter speed.
Also, in general (to decrease shutter lag) first pre-focus on your subject (by half pressing the shutter button)...then recompose or wait for the right moment...and then press the shutter button all the way down.
