Help about camera?

i have a pentax k110d. I also have some old lenses, i did all of the things the troubleshooting guide but whenevr i turn it on, the screen blinks white and then it goes black? (i know it has to do with the lenses)

Just dug out a review of the K100D (Shutterbug Magazine, Oct. 2006). In a sidebar to the main article it explains how to use the older non-AF lenses on the K100D. I hope it works for the K110D.

Step 1) Set the "FL with S lens used" custom function to "2".

Step 2) Set the "Using aperture ring" custom function to "2".

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how their Step 3 will apply to your camera since it doesn't have the Image Stabilization of the K100D but here it is:

"Once these settings are made, the Shake Reduction option on the main menu is accessible so you can input the lens focal length. If it is an older lens without the "A" setting on the aperture ring you can only access Manual (set at the M position on the mode dial) or Shutter Priority (mode dial set to anything but M). You are also limited to stop-down metering so the viewfinder does darken."

My only other suggestion is to e-mail or call the manufacturer and get their advice.
