Broken Viewfinder on Camera? Definitely sounds like the LCD display is broken if it looks funny when it's turned off. I've heard of people getting replacement displays for around $50.00 or so and installing them themselves. You might want to give it a shot if you're handy. You should be able to find a number for parts and service on the Pentax web site. Companies will usually sell consumers parts if they can clearly communicate what they need. LCD display for an Optio M20 is pretty easy... See if you can remove the old one and feel confident about installing a new one... What have you really got to lose? buy |
